As Ashampoo puts it, the Video Styler software application will help you “jazz up your videos” and “turn your videos into impressive films.” Select a video and you can use Ashampoo Video Styler to correct the colors, to apply an effect (invert colors, grey scale, sepia, old movie, TV, clipping), to rotate it left or right, to mirror it horizontally or vertically, and to add some background music. When you’re done, you can use the built-in player to preview your work. And if you’re happy with it, you can save your work locally or upload it to the web.

At the time of writing this, the system requirements for running Ashampoo Video Styler are: 1.8GHz processor or better (dual-core processor recommended for HD videos); at least 1GB of RAM (2GB recommended for HD videos); graphics card with a minimum resolution of 1024x768, at least 256MB of memory (512Mb for HD videos), and 3D Acceleration; any Windows edition from XP onward. A straightforward setup wizard will help you install Ashampoo Video Styler on a PC that meets these system requirements.

Here’s what you’ll see on Ashampoo Video Styler’s interface. A navigation pane on the left hand side; use it to find and select a folder that contains videos. A thumbnails pane at the top; select a folder that contains videos and thumbnails for said videos will be displayed. A main panel that features a video timeline, a player, and options to edit the video. From the Settings menu you can choose what language the interface uses; lots of languages are supported.

Ashampoo Video Styler is not free, it is only free to try. In all, you have 40 days to evaluate this application. But please note that you get 10 days by default and an additional 30 days. A prompt will show up when you run Ashampoo Video Styler for the first time and inform you of this fact.
